Welcome to Tudor Church of England Primary School Website.

Tudor CE Primary School is a place where children

"Live to learn, and learn to live, in fulness of life".

Happy Summer Holidays Everyone!

Good Luck Year 6!

We said farewell to our wonderful year 6 children today.

We gave them some words of wisdom from everyone at Tudor.

As the book says 'There is only one you: Go out and make the world a better place'.

I know our year 6 children will certainly make the world a better place.

School is back on Tuesday 5th September 2017

Thank you to all the children for all their hard work this year and to all the parents for their continued support.

It is very much appreciated.

Have a great summer!

Liz Campbell.

Only One You!

Everyone in the school has painted a pebble after reading the story called 'Only One You'. We are going to create a unique path outside in our new reflective area.

There is only one you and that is what makes you unique. As the bible says ' You are precious to me ...... and I love you'.

Isaiah 43:4

'Opportunity Knocks!' day at Tudor School.

Thank you so much to all the local businesses and people who came into school today to talk to our children about what they do. The children had an amazing day being vets, nurses, chefs, explorers, farmers, therapists, police, recyclers, town councillors and students. Many of the children who came out of the hall after their activities and said they now wanted to become a vet or an explorer.

Cooking Club!

Cooking Club is starting after half term for year 6 children on a Monday after school until 4.30pm.

Cheese straws this week!!

Please take a look at our paintings in the town library. We have put up a display.

Our Current Value

Our value for this half term is 'Courage''.

We will be thinking about how being courageous is not the absence of fear, but facing fears strong in the knowledge that God is with us and will never leave us.

"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you"

Deuteronomy 31:6

Art Enhancement

Every Friday afternoon there is an art enhancement group which works in Layer Marney with Mrs Campbell. We are trying out real art techniques and enjoying the uninterupted time working on art projects. So far we have used wet on wet techniques to produce beautiful paintings of robins, hyacinths, lillies and a sunset over water. Please see the photos included in the gallery below. They are simply stunning! All the children are either year 4,5 or 6.

Gardening Afternoon

All the children in school took part in a gardening afternoon to prepare the raised beds for the seeds and to plant all sorts of seeds and plants. We have planted beetroot, basil, sweet peas, sunflowers, carrots, peppers, tomatoes and lettuces. In addition we also have rhubarb and strawberries growing so we are really looking forward to our farmers market later in the year when we will sell products made from these ingredients.

Many thanks to Homebase who very kindly donated some compost to us to help us along the way.
